Myrtle Beach, SC, May 5, 2022 – The Myrtle Beach International Airport welcomed its newest airline – Avelo Airlines, earlier today.
The inaugural ceremony began at 8:45 a.m. with remarks from the Horry County Department of Airports, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Avelo followed by a ribbon cutting. The arriving aircraft was greeted with a water cannon salute in celebration of the new service.

Alternatively, MYR locals can look forward to the ability to connect with friends, family and enjoy an abundance of recreational opportunities in New England with their gorgeous autumn leaves and shoreline.
